SoftwareOne is excited to announce the grand opening of its new US headquarters in The Dye House in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward.
Relocating from our Waukesha location to downtown allows us to better support our 135 hybrid employees and attract even more talented people from the Milwaukee area. The Dye House’s 20,000 sq. ft. second-floor facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology that supports hybrid and in-person operations – giving employees flexibility in where they choose to work. The Third Ward location also is convenient for employees who live nearby and want to walk, bike, or take The Hop to the office.
The historic Dye House celebrates its Centennial anniversary this year. It recently underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation and now houses both residential and commercial tenants. The building boasts many amenities, including what will soon be one of the best rooftop patios in Milwaukee, with sweeping views of the skyline and Lake Michigan. The building is also close to many of Milwaukee’s top restaurants, galleries, and cultural centers – giving employees and visitors fantastic dining and entertainment options they can enjoy when they visit the office.
Our late founder, Patrick Winter, always dreamed of having a space in Milwaukee. He cared deeply about the community and driving innovation in the city.
To honor Winter’s commitment to the community, SoftwareOne is committed to building relationships with many local organizations. We are currently partnering with Marquette University Athletics,Milwaukee Esports, and The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, and look forward to expanding our Milwaukee network. Moving our US headquarters to the Third Ward helps us fulfil Winter’s legacy and form deeper connections with the community.
The SoftwareOne Academy is also located in our new headquarters. The Academy is an on-the-job training program for individuals who want to improve their business and technical skills. And it isn’t just for students or people with related experience—it’s open to anyone wishing to explore a technology career.
Ashley Baird, SoftwareOne’s North American President, spearheaded the move and helped bring the new headquarters to life.
We’re thrilled to be expanding our area operations into Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The heart of the Third Ward is a perfect fit for SoftwareOne’s innovative and flexible culture, and we look forward to playing a bigger role in advancing our people and the community at large.
